My partner's code says it's expired or invalid
Invite codes are single-use and expire after a while. Ask your partner to open momo and share a fresh invite, then type the 8 digits again or tap the new link.
The invite link opens a web page instead of the app
Install momo from Google Play first, then tap the link again. You can also open momo, choose I have a code and type the 8-digit code.
My partner has an iPhone
momo for iPhone is coming soon. Android and iPhone will share the same space, so mixed couples can use momo together.
The daily question
Why can't I see my partner's answer?
That's the sealed reveal. You see their answer once you've written yours. It's enforced on our server, so there's no way to peek, for either of you.
Can I change my answer?
Yes, until your partner has answered too. After the reveal, both answers lock so nobody rewrites what the other already read.
New phone
My notes and memories look locked on my new phone
Your content is end-to-end encrypted, and the key lives on your phones, not on our servers. Sign in on the new phone, then ask your partner to open momo. Their phone passes the key to your new one, and everything unlocks.
We both changed phones
If neither old phone can open momo anymore, the key to older content is gone, and nobody, including us, can recover it. New content will work as soon as you both sign in. Write to us and we will help you start fresh.
Notifications
Check that notifications are on for momo in your phone's settings, and that battery saver isn't restricting it. momo only sends a few gentle notifications: a new note, your partner's answer, and reminders you set. No streak warnings, ever.
Signing in
Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and open the email on your phone. If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google instead.
Unlinking and deleting
You can export your shared space, unlink from your partner, or delete your account from the Us tab. Read exactly what gets deleted and when.
